UC Irvine’s Global Affairs Leadership Visits Taejae University

On April 26, Taejae University was visited by Dr. Victoria Jones and Dr. Hye-won Shin from the Global Affairs department of University of California Irvine. Drs. Jones and Shin were received by Taejae University’s Vice President Jhun Myoungsic, Dean Jungmi Yang, and the Global Initiative Institute.

The meeting between the two teams explored how UC Irvine and Taejae University could further one another’s visions and goals of providing innovative and transformative educational experiences. As they traded ideas and opinions, all in attendance expressed enthusiasm about the synergistic possibilities for the future. In particular, Dr. Jones and Dr. Shin voiced their appreciation and optimism for Taejae’s innovative model of education and posited many productive and inspiring ideas for Taejae’s future growth.

The meeting marked an important first step in further exploring and developing opportunities for partnership and collaboration between the two institutions. Both universities expressed their shared hope for an enduring relationship that will help shape future generations of global innovators and leaders.
